Maison de Portes Permissions

CHARACTER NAME: Lelouch vi Britannia
CHARACTER SERIES: Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (anime)

This is the permissions list for OOC (out of character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired.

Backtagging: Yup
Threadhopping: Not into closed threads, obvs
Fourthwalling: Not really applicable, I don't think. But having a character go "Oh, you're Prince Lelouch I thought you were dead!" when they aren't supposed to is a quick way to have your character murdered.
Offensive subjects (elaborate): None that come to mind right now

This is the permissions list for IC (in-character), activity.
Answer the following questions with "yes" or "no", as well as additional information if desired. With IC permissions, it's a good idea to elaborate on what other players can expect from your character if they choose to do any of the following:

Hugging this character: If it's a stranger, he'll push and flail. If you're tiny and adorable, he'll suffer in silence.
Kissing this character: Unless you've developed a significant amount of CR/are certain canonmates, expect to be pushed away forcefully.
Flirting with this character: He won't particularly care unless letting you think he's into it is useful to him for something.
Fighting with this character: Inevitable. He's not a physical threat, but he's good at setting people up to lose before the battle even starts.
Injuring this character (include limits and severity): Please ask if it's anything more than bangs and bruises.
Killing this character: Please discuss the specifics with me ahead of time in all cases.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: Read away, just let me know you have a mind reader so I can give you something to work with. Beware: If he finds out, it may not end well for you. He does not suffer telepaths idly.

Warnings: None really. Aside from mid-R2 spoilers.

Here's the Q&D of how his power works:
One order per customer. Ever. Unless we get Jeremiah, the only person with a Geass Canceller APP JEREMIAH
The order will be followed. Period. End of story. As long as it is within the realm of what the individual is physically capable of doing, they will do all they can to carry it out. Including but not limited to killing anyone that gets in their way.
The victim has no memory of anything directly relating to the order. They will not remember being given the order, they will not remember carrying it out.
The person will behave naturally while they do what they're supposed to do, untill they meet with resistance. Examples include a sugary sweet princes asking people she's been ordered to kill "Won't you all please die?" or a military person responding as they would to an order from a superior.
Orders need not be immediate. They can be placed on a time delay, or await a catalyst, such as a specific gesture, keyword, or other event.
Orders can be opened ended, such as "You will answer all of my questions." Or "Place a mark on this building every day at this time."
Orders can be bounced off mirrors, (and he's already done one on himself so that's not a risk) can go through normal glasses, and can reach people for hundreds of meters. Anything with eyes and a brain of somewhere around the average human can be affected.
Orders cannot go through dark glasses or video screens.

There's other details, but that's the main points as far as how it works and what it does. If you have any questions, let me know here or you can contact me directly via [ profile] girlnamedlance, [AIM] girlnamedlance, or email

If you think his Geass could make a plot you're a part of more interesting, then let me know about that too. He doesn't go around broadcasting that he can do it though, so it wouldn't be like anyone will know for a while. It doesn't have any paranormal signature, despite it being referred to as a demon's power repeatedly in the series, they're just being symbolic.

I WILL ALWAYS CONSIDER USING HIS GEASS ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS. So there's not a formal permissions thing here. If something comes up that he might use it for, I'll contact you.
