It could have been worse, he supposed. Though that was rarely any kind of comfort. That was usually the case. "I'm in no hurry to open this hatch. I have plenty of power remaining." Shinkiro's sensors were able to cast much further afield than Lancelot's. In fact, he could still see C.C.'s signal as it headed for friendly territory.

He wasn't just being stubborn, though. Sakuradite could power a Knightmare's basic functions for quite some time if it wasn't in combat. The more sensible option would be to join Suzaku in the Lancelot and guard the Shinkiro that way. But he wasn't going to let the superior sensor array go to waste. Maybe he was being stubborn about that.
